What exactly exactly a depression or depressive mood is

The most fundamental way to overcome a depressed mood

Both in books and on the Internet there are several ways to deal with a depressive mood

or even to solve it. One of the best books on depression is the classic and updated work of Aaron Beck and Brad Alford (2009): Depression.

t focuses clearly on cognitive therapy but it is nowhere unrealistic and also discusses other forms of therapy such as medication and ElectroConvulsive Shock Therapy (ECT). I have tried here to summarize the core ingredients for an effective therapy for mild to moderate depression. But first something about What exactly exactly a depression or depressive mood is?

First of all, there is an obvious lack of satisfaction in doing normally fun and cheerful activities. Like eating a nice meal, making love, practicing a hobby. As if the motivational system in the brain no longer works normally. Secondly, a depressive mood is also felt: feeling sad, feeling bored, having no sense, feeling alone. These are normal descriptions of depressed patients. You will also hear a lot of hopeless, unhappy or miserable feelings. Whatever words are used, it is very clear that a patient no longer has joy or pleasure. Third, often there are negative feelings about yourself: feeling worthless, I am worth nothing or I hate myself. Fourth: regular crying episodes where these just start from nothing. Women usually cry more often than men.

Now finally the most fundamental technique that you can use to tackle your depressed mood. I will also try to explain at every tip why it works. Not that I know everything (if you have not noticed that already). My statements will certainly have to be further researched, but I have tried to link some scientific studies and / or models to it.

Do things that can motivate yourself again

In a chronic depressive mood you probably have failed to motivate yourself. Not only when you have fallen prey to doing fewer and fewer things (because you 'do not feel like it'), but you have also taught yourself to speak very negatively to yourself. No wonder you feel depressed! The relatively simple principle behind being depressed seems to be a continuous lack of motivational input to the right brain areas that provide lust and pleasure. If such a lack of motivation lasts for days, weeks, the neurotransmitter household will change. Science does not know exactly how exactly this works, but the fact is that our chemical behavior can be disturbed by our behavior and thinking. What you have to realize is that the brain, our brains, are the only computer that can also change its hardware through its software ... and vice versa!

Motivation and being able to feel pleasure (or pleasure) is an essential part of your life. It is NOT automatic, as some people think. The experience or feeling of joy or pleasure has to be trained so that it continues regularly, otherwise it will eventually stop automatically. Evolution has us, a "higher kind of animal," with "lower order" mechanisms to feel such pleasure and lust: especially sexuality and eating food is a pleasure. Such activities strongly activate our centers of pleasure in the brain. It is therefore entirely logical that so many are addicted to sex or food. Internet porn sites are one of the most visited sites. Fortunately, parachutes have been made in our brain to prevent us from constantly making love and eating over. We have a mechanism that makes us feel full and we can not constantly make love without feeling bored or tired. In a way, our brain, our brains, quickly become addicted to especially new things. Because we also quickly get used to new things so that boredom occurs relatively quickly. So that we quickly start looking for something new. Routines are wonderfully safe, easy but the downside is that it soon gets bored. And thus can quickly lead to a more depressive mood.

The fundamental idea to prevent depression is to continue, to keep your motivation high enough so that you do not fall back into a bored or depressed mood. You need two types of fuel for your motivational engine: 1. constructive (helping) thoughts and 2. constructive behavior. From the cognitive behavioral theory side, the 'thought' part is the most important. Because thoughts are essential to motivate yourself. A thought can break you or just put it up. But having only positive thoughts does not help if you do not want to behave.

How to Stay Healthy With Natural Health Options

How to Stay Healthy With Natural Health Options

No aisle is more popular at the grocery store than the pharmacy aisle because that is where you head first when you get sick.

It is common for people to look to over the counter medications to cure all of their illnesses. What if you could choose something different?

What if you could get better without ever having to set foot outside? What if you could help yourself feel better without having to leave the house? There are so many natural health ways to cure your ailments!

Peppers can go a long way toward helping you heal. Bell peppers are filled with vitamin C and if you include some with your meals you can kick start your immune system so that you'll have an easier time staying healthy. Cayenne pepper is another ingredient that is great for colds, flues and your sinuses.

Putting cayenne pepper in your tea or in other foods can help stimulate your sinuses which will make it easier for you to breathe. A good way to help your body start the healing process is to eat some cayenne pepper, which will heat up your body and make it sweat, which is how the germs and toxins in your system are released.

Ginger is one of the most widely accepted natural health cures. Ginger is really easy to come by-it is used in almost every kitchen in the world and many people swear by ginger tea when they have a cold or the flu. If you aren't feeling well, adding some ginger to your food or drinking some ginger tea certainly can't hurt you. The healing elements and antiviral compounds of ginger can help keep your illness from getting worse. Getting sick could become a thing of the past if you regularly eat ginger. Eliminate refined sugar.

Sugar slows down your immune system which makes it easier for colds and flues to take hold. Lots of people say that, after they stop eating sugar, they start to feel a lot better. Sugary drinks might taste better when you are sick, it is better to steer clear of them and drink water instead (or tea). If you want to get rid of a cold or the flu, eating sugar is counterproductive and gets in the way of other natural health cures you might be trying.

Killing a cold and getting well is best done by using natural health remedies. Why shove a bunch of chemical compounds down your throat when there are other and better ways to help yourself feel better? Natural remedies are better than a bunch of drugs and pills.

Don't forget to give yourself permission to rest up otherwise nothing you do will help you get better.

Weight Loss Experts Are Baffled By Ancient African Red Tea

Weight Loss Experts Are Baffled By Ancient African Red Tea

Ancient African Red Tea & Its Fat Melting Powers

The Red Tea Detox - Huge New Weight Loss For 2018! Jan Launch!

Green tea has long been acknowledged for its health and wellness benefits, including weight loss assistance. The evidence is irrefutable. But are we overlooking something better? It is true that green tea contains powerful antioxidants. These components contribute to minimizing health risks such as cancer and cardiovascular disease.

As a Weight Loss Expert, it has been my primary goal to share practical tips and tricks for those pursuing optimal health. In upholding my obligation to transparency, I am about to reveal how green tea, although beneficial, is gradually losing value in the light of its delicious rival – rooibos.

Rooibos, also known as red tea, is equally high in antioxidants, however sourced from different substances to that of green tea. The antioxidants contained in rooibos – aspalathin and nothofagin – are comparatively rare, and help to regulate blood sugar, reduce excessive fat production, stress, and inhibit metabolic disorders.

After the results of recent studies, alongside my own findings related to the major players in sustainable weight loss, I consider red tea an essential. In addition to preventing heart disease, diabetes, Alzheimer’s and more, it is an accessible and effective answer to weight gain. This year I began the production of my Red Tea Detox.

A primary goal was to harness the incredible benefits of rooibos whilst combining the ingredient with a number of other, equally valuable elements. Rooibos means red bush. The plant is readily available, with leaves that turn red upon fermentation.

With so much potential to assist with our health and wellness journeys, I considered it wrong to ignore the strength of the plant. Unlike green tea, red tea does not contain caffeine, and therefore drinking the blend at night won’t leave you restless.
Another factor of its ultimate superiority is simply – taste. The bitterness of green tea is often attributed to its high tannin content, which is less prevalent in red tea.

Many health products do not aim to bridge the gap between adults and young children, but the pursuit of health is of equal importance for both demographics.
Which is why I’ve designed a recipe that caters to all ages and tastes, with the inclusion of a sweetened version of the recipe. This particular Red Tea Detox program is fresh and matchless, already actively transforming lives since its launch. Click here to check it out

How to: That’s weight loss rule number one

How to: That’s weight loss rule number one

The secret is snacking.

You’re staring at your computer screen with weary eyes. Dinner has come and gone, but that
oh-so-familiar beast we call Hunger has reeled its damn head again.
But you can’t snack after eight o’clock, right? That’s weight loss rule number one. Or is it?
I’m about to share with you some helpful truths for a situation of this kind.
There’s an ironic flipside to my mostly honorable label of ‘Liz Swann Miller – Weight Loss
Expert’. I must strictly resign myself to the continuous expectation the general public
attributes to the title – that I have it together.
Liz would never gain excessive amounts of weight. Liz would never give in to that looming
golden M on the highway. Liz doesn’t snack late at night. How does Liz do it?
Let me tell you a secret. Liz struggles. Liz feels the exact temptations you feel, and resists the
exact pulls you resist.

As this ‘Weight Loss Expert’, I often need to remind myself not only to pursue a healthy
lifestyle in order to fulfill the expectation of my title and my career, but for my optimal
wellbeing.
The temptation, for me, is at its worst late at night, during that time when I’ve supposedly
declared eating over, yet I’m fighting hunger, bleary-eyed, answering hundreds of emails
from clients seeking advice for topics such as this.
Firstly – it’s important to note that hunger is a basic survival instinct – and we must be
grateful for it. The fact that it exists is an amazing feat in itself. Don’t be ashamed. Just know

how to appease the beast.
There are those who claim the most effective diets are those which have you eating only
two meals a day, and drinking water for the rest. I strongly encourage you to ignore these
methods, as they are not sustainable.
The secret is snacking. And I don’t mean digging around in a bag of chips and licking the
salt off your fingers (we’ve all been there), I mean pouring yourself a bowl of organic nuts.
Or blueberries. Or frozen peas. Be inventive, but clever about it. Choose the right food in
moderation.

But let’s talk about the late-night secret. It’s simple. And easy. Are you ready for it?
Okay. It’s a cup of tea. Don’t underestimate those three words. Not to drink immediately
before bed, but rather in the gap between dinner and sleep.

My go-to is the always delicious, always sufficient Red Tea.

It satisfies the hunger itch, but
leaves me feeling clean, calm and revitalized, primarily due to its detoxifying properties. And
it’s caffeine free – so don’t fear, you won’t be bouncing from the walls.
After my extensive studies around fat-burning solutions, the myths and the answers, I
created this tea with ingredients selected carefully for late night cravings and overall weight
loss (you can find the recipe in the link below). The benefits are endless, but the solution is
simple.

Set yourself a challenge. I’ll be right there with you. Ditch the chips, the ice cream, and the
guilty pleasure cheese blocks. Get the kettle bubbling and pour yourself a steaming mug
of Red Tea. I guarantee – you will fall in love with the taste – and late night cravings will be a
beast of the past.
